In May 2015 The Brunch Club team took part in the Moonwalk London half marathon (plus an unexpected 2 miles) to raise money and awareness for vital breast cancer causes - and to give Yasmin the motivation to keep walking as she was recovering from treatment. Despite it being a difficult time, looking back at our fundraising page still makes me smile https://give.everydayhero.com/uk/the-brunch-club.

I cannot imagine how tough it must be for those living with cancer and those just being diagnosed, not least living with the fear of not getting the treatment they need or going through treatment alone because of self-isolation, as well as the fear of becoming ill. So I am donating a little money and celebrating what the Moonwalk meant to me.
