My Story

I have both friends and relatives who've battled breast cancer. My Mam had a mastectomy about 10 years ago and is still going strong (well aside from dementia 🫤). Cancer is something that can hit any one of us and the statistics of 1 in every 2 people are actually pretty frightening! I'm going to Walk the Walk to help raise funds that are vital to cancer charities who in turn give vital support to many people in their own personal battles.  I'm also doing this to acknowledge and support those pals currently going through the battle( you'll get through this 🙌)  and in memory of those pals that are no longer with us (Zef & Michelle).  Also not forgetting pals that have successfully come through the other side of treatment.... you are all resilient, strong and AMAZING.
