My Story

We are The Optimists. Always! Walking the Walk to raise money to save more lives. I am humbled to be well enough to walk, live, love, laugh, work and party after a diagnosis of breast cancer, and a mastectomy, earlier this year. None of these activities would be possible without my being a beneficiary of breast cancer research (and the care and dedication of the brilliant team at the Cancer Unit at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh - thank you all).
