The MoonWalk London 2022

Team

The Belgian Buns

Team captain: Nicola MacKinnon

About

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019 after finding a lump. I had chemo and radiotherapy and am now cancer-free.

I am walking the MoonWalk as a way to say farewell to the last 2 years and to raise a huge amount of money for this fantastic charity so they can continue to support all those people who will need their support in the future.

The team name comes from an occassion just after my operation when my best friend thought she'd cheer me up with some cakes, not realising that two Belgian buns in a box look surprisingly like boobs. The joke stuck and the team name was chosen.

Please support us if you can - the team walking with me are my closest friends and family and I wouldn't have got through this without them. I am grateful for their ongoing love and support and especially for being mad enough to walk a marathon through the night with me just because I asked them to.
