30th December - Wendy's birthday and the date in 2019 that we signed-up for this challenge.  A day Wendy should have been celebrating with her family and friends had things turned out differently. Devastatingly, Wendy lost her life to cancer whilst still only in her 50s. The memory of her strength, loyalty, kindness, humour, friendship and unconditional love will power us on - hopefully to the finish line!

We're walking for everyone's mum, grandma, sister, daughter, friend....and the fellas too - cancer affects us all.  For those having to deal with cancer during a pandemic the support offered by the Walk The Walk charity is needed more than ever.  Any amount you are able to donate to this organisation will make a difference - it will go towards research, prevention and vital support for those living with cancer now.
